You have a household of: (Includes spouse/partner, parents, children )
|
and total household income* is less than: |
1 person |
$25,999 |
2 people |
$34,999 |

*These rates are determined by the Federal Poverty Guidelines, and are adjusted annually
In order to receive reduced fees, however, you must provide certain documentation. If you have a spouse or partner, you must bring in both partners’ proof of income, such as pay stubs, tax returns or a letter from your employer(s). If you are disabled or unemployed, we require some evidence of that status.
Payment for Services Payments for services are expected at the time the services are provided. This helps us keep our prices low because we do not have the cost of billing.
Health Insurance Claims
Although WomanKind does not file insurance claims for you or accept insurance payments, you can still submit a claim to your health insurance carrier for your visits to WomanKind. At checkout, we will give you the necessary forms with billing codes and prices needed for you to file the claim with your own insurance company. If you have not met your deductible for the year, the visit should count towards it. If you have met your deductible, the insurance company will reimburse you directly. Some insurance programs have an annual wellness benefit, and that too, can be used to pay for your visit at WomanKind. Please be sure your carrier sends their check to you and not to WomanKind.
By avoiding the paperwork and extra staff needed to do the insurance filing, we are able to save money, and pass those savings on to you. |
